Today I heart so many wonderful, yummy and inspiring things! I literally want everything on this list and I especially want to make all the delicious and comforting foods while wearing all the fabulous clothes, boots, jewellery and all while making crafty things.

These beautiful boots and this overall look in general. I was never really a boots, tights and dress gal but recently this has been changing. - via here

Today I heart....

...those who are brave enough to create and publish those insanely interesting "What I wore today" posts! I don't consider myself to be at all fashionable, I wear what suits my shape and tend to stay away from black as it drains my face and who wants to look like they're going to a funeral all day, everyday anyways! I also don't know alot about fashion, nine times out of ten, I'll see gorgeous clothes in a clothes shop, think to myself  "that might suit me!"....but usually leave the dressing room about 10 minutes later blaming my "hips that don't lie" for said garment not suiting me in the slightest.

So I guess, if I was to even attempt a "What I wore today" post, that I would consider it to bevaguely uninteresting for those out there who gander through my blog each and every day...so rather than taking inspiration from me, take inspiration instead from those braver than little ole me!

Check out Meredith from One Sheepish Blog, I adore her sweet style and she's also a very talented knitter with quite an amazing amount of followers! She often talks about using her blog as an outlet to increase her confidence hence the "What I wore" posts on her blogs. Check out the grey jumper which she recently up-styled by adding adorable red hearts! "Sell these jumpers!", the voice inside my head screams!

Also, we have the very talented Ruth Crean of Nice Day Designs, a fellow Limerick blogger like myself I have to say Ruth looks fantastic in this photo! What a funky and daring dress! It suits her so much! I admire her confidence for wearing it and testing out the vintage parameters! I also kinda want those potato men staring at her from behind!

I just love the cuetness of this outfit, check out the shoes for one! Tied in with a great hair colour, Kaelah from the blog little chief honeybee makes dress for day an effortless task! I'm very jealous! I also want the gusto to wear coloured tights! Of all the black things I have in my possession an abundance of black tights (for work purposes) would be top of the list!

Anyone who can snap themselves in floral pants and look good while doing so always gets my vote! Lola Dee is very creative when it comes to her style and why not, she's only a young one! Her blog is also always full of interesting reads, I suggest you follow her, I can assure you, you won't be dissappointed. She's also a dab hand at using colour really well!

And finally.....seriously, How quirky and amazing is the style of Amy Morby who thrifts a lot of her clothing! *Sigh*, I would only do the same if it weren't for the lack of amazing thrift stores in my home town! This is a girl after my own heart, colourful, energetic and not one bit afraid to show it!! From the funky shoes to the bright stripes of the shirt...she's a modern day 70's gal!

One day, (When I have an outfit worthy to show the world.wide.web) I'll join the ranks of "What I wore" today!

Today I heart...

.....technology and the wonderful invention that is the iPhone 4 (Yes I know the iPhone 5 is on the way and soon my phone won't be as cool!) and the even more wonderful App that is Instagram!

Be still my beating heart, I have been longing for the Instagram App since I discovered it via blogs. I searched for it in vain when I had my lovely little android only to discover it's only available on the iPhone! "Oh no!" I thought as I muddled my way through similar android equivalents! Never quite achieving the same interesting, beautiful shots those with Instagram captured!

Then....one day.....the nice lady from O2 (my phone company) called me...."Rebecca, would you like to upgrade to an iPhone 4...(and now the best bit...)... for free?? "Why yes, nice phone lady I would!" and so began the love affair that was Instagram and Rebecca. After 25 photos, I'm addicted.....every moment is a possible Instagram photo opportunity. Why don't you follow me here? We can become addicted together!

Today I heart....

Avaluk!

A lovely, dainty, 'selling all things handmade' crafty shop in Kilkenny ,Ireland. I had heard about this sweet place via other Etsy Ireland sellers and all of them were sending their goodies back and forth to Roisin and Nadine in Avaluk and using the shop as a platform to sell their work!

The pop-up shop went so well in Limerick and I got such lovely feedback from customers about my work that I decided to (nervously) approach Avaluk to see if they would be interested in having some of my work in their shop...and to my delight, they said yes! It will be so exciting to know that I too will be part of Avaluk and that there will be so many Irish people as well as tourists popping in and out of the shop and viewing all of the amazing work on display. Kilkenny is such an arty city that I'm sure the shop sits well within all the other exciting and mouth drooling shops. A visit there over the summer is a must!

While, the summer has been very busy in my full time job here in UL, I have a few days off next week so I can sit down and get creating for the shop! I'm looking forward to escaping to the studio to be honest, it chills me out and my head is buzzing with ideas at the moment, I'm itching to get them down on paper! I'll be sure to do a sneek preview of whats to come.

Other news....I'm off to Greece with the boy in 3 weeks time! I'm stupid with excitement! I'll do a post on that trip shortly!

I hope you're having a lovely weekend!

Today I heart...

With all the talk of the Royal Wedding and street parties accross the length and breadth of the UK, I have fallen (again) in love with bunting!

Etsy, of course has an array of handmade bunting and bunting supplies and to me, the elude to the 1950's! If I had the time, I'd decorate my backgarden in bunting for a summer bbq....now if only the sun would stay around long enough, then perhaps it would happen!

A few of my favourites!

Today I heart....

It's been a while since I wrote a 'Today I heart...' post, so I've gathered up some wonderful items from the world of Etsy and beyond that have put a smile on my face or a "wish I thought of that" moment in my head. Enjoy!

First up, this lovely treasury created by Lilabelledesign which she kindly included me in. Its pretty, full of pastel colours and is ready to ditch the winter blues in favour of welcoming spring with big, fat, open arms!

How retro are these mugs? I'm tempted to buy them and add them to my already eclectic kitchen! They're from Lapomme, a french store on Etsy. Each daily cup of tea would make me smile!

This you tube video has me in stiches! Apologies to anyone who is offended by bad language but taking into consideration that I usually have a least one printing dilemma each week, I can relate to this clip!

An fun way to exercise! - Available from Thevintagetreehouse on Etsy!

After my recent trip to New York, I just love this post on the crazy weather they have been experiencing of late! I miss NYC!

Hope you're all having a lazy Sunday! :)

Today I Heart....

.....so many things from the Etsy Ireland shops!!

Here's a little selection:

How GORGEOUS is this hat by Bonzie!! I recently spotted a similar piece when they were exhibiting at the Limerick Milk Market. They are simply beautiful, statement pieces to treasure and I want one sooooo bad!! Time to start saving!

I have to admit, I've had my eye on this jacket for some time now! Its simplistic style is right up my street and its the kind of jacket you could dress up or down. I love it! I also love the shop it came from, Dandelion Daydreamer!

A pretty Queen Anne button ring curtosy of Magpie and Button, not only is her jewellery innovative and oh so cute, but her packaging is to die for! It's something that I'm trying to work on myself!

Enjoy!!! :)
