Creative Selling....while decorating Reception.

In the land of 'full time job', I work in possibly what is known as 'the smallest reception known to man!". It's ok though, the boss has given the go ahead to get it renovated in a number of months so come 2012 it will be a prettier and more productive place to work.....prettier being the important word right?

Until then I have this empty postcard rack that has been stuck on the reception wall since probably time began. We don't sell postcards and I don't know if we ever did, but instead of leaving it blank and boring, now and again I stock it with my own creations and now and again the lovely residents buy them....nifty eh?

The only downside is that it only holds two types of cards, the teeny-tiny type and the super tall type. (I will add the correct dimensions later and try to refrain from using cute like names.....teeny tiny!?!)

www.luckyrainbowdesign.com

Helloooo lovely people!

Just a little reminder that I have a website http://www.luckyrainbowdesign.com/ (forget myself sometimes! he he!) its a one stop shop for all things great and wonderful about LuckyRainbowDesigns. It was made by my super talented friend Claire who I've known for a long time now!

Later on today, I'll be showing you the lovely St.Patricks Day cards I created over the weekend. Hmmm I'm not sure whether to send them to all my friends abroad in Japan, Germany and the states or to sell them to the lovely people on etsy?

Ideas on a blogger postcard please? :)

LuckyRainbowDesigns goes digital!

Today is a GREAT day! An idea, a conversation, a few emails and numerous conversations have come to fruition! Today is the day that the LuckyRainbowDesign website has gone live! Feel free to have a look and a wander around. In essence its a simple, cute, colourful and bright, cheery website that encompasses all that LuckyRainbowDesigns is. It celebrates the spirit of handmade and easily connects you to my Etsy shop, my blog, my tweets and finally my facebook fan page!

What I love most of all, is now everything is linked up and has a home but also there is a strong consistent brand there. For example, the banner you see on this blog is also found on the website and my Etsy shop! Gone are the days where I listed all the places to find me, now all I have to say is "luckyrainbowdesign.com" - How easy is that?

I'm hopping onto the Moo site now to order some new business cards! Ohhh the excitement!
